About me:

Hi! I'm Laura! If you're here, then you may be shopping for a maternity or newborn photographer in San Jose. Well I'm excited to let you know that you've come to the right place! I'm a portrait photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area  who specializes in documenting this season in your life, whether it be it waiting for or welcoming a new baby, family photos or celebrating your love with the one you cherish most in life. I'm here to make your session fun, light hearted & beautiful!

I'm a wife to my incredible husband and a mommy to our 2 amazing girls, and sweet new boy! From the moment I laid eyes on my first born, I had a need to create a time capsule for myself. I found that the photos that captured real moments were my favorites. Those early mornings snuggled with daddy in our bed, chubby fingers clasping a handpicked bouquet, the pride that beams from their faces as they help in the kitchen...  As a mom, I understand the importance of providing family photos that paint your story. The in-between and honest moments that occur between you. But don't worry- I don't just tell you to pretend like I'm not there while I take your pictures! I'll walk you through the entire thing, directing you in order to evoke those special connections that you share.

When I'm not out on location, you can find me at home quilting or concocting super fun science experiments with my girls. I'm also still usually behind the lens documenting my own story or driving around scouting for new locations to use. I love the thrill of doing anything new and adventurous!

Please contact me if you have any questions or would like to set up a session! Find me on Facebook to see recent updates and sessions!
